In October 2016 release, there are 27,586 chess players. This represent a spike of 4.3% from 26,456 chess players in July 2016. Of which there is more than 25,800 Malaysians in our chess rating database. A unique MCF Chess Rating ID contains 9-Alphanumeric ID was introduced in the October 2013 edition. Please refer to here for more info.
Please remember your MCF Chess Rating ID to facilitate registration process of National-rated Events and INSIST on the Event Organisers to key-in your MCF Chess Rating ID into IDNo column of the Swiss Manager file to avoid any rating discrepancies.

I've shrink the page into 1 unique name per entry page, so you need to download the PDF and open with PDF viewer and magnify the names and ratings inside the document.

This year Inter-State will take place in Kuantan, Pahang from 25 Nov to 28 Nov 2016.
The eligibility for player to represent a State is based on "1 player, 1 State policy" for the Calendar year. This policy is in place w.e.f. 2014.
The events that have States representation for 2016 are National Age Group, Malaysian Championship, MSSM, Astro Merdeka Team and Datin Yee Wai Fong U12 Team.
Any player who has / had violated this policy isn't allow to represent any State in this upcoming event in the same Calendar Year.
For example, the players from the following list extracted from Malaysian Chess Championship are not eligible to represent other State in the upcoming event:-
